"For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope in the future" (from the Holy Bible, Jeremiah 29:11)
I really liked that tune by the way. The guitar sounds like youve actually put some thought into it, which is good to hear. Keep it up!

Thanks, that means a lot! And yeah, that was an intentional bible quote in the title. I've got another blues one up, called Pacasmayo Surf, but I'm gonna be adding many more over the course of the week.

the bits that you made sound pretty, but it sounds like half of the song is just the original.
Author's Response:
I did copy bits from the song, Just pich shifted the original riff around a bit, and improvised...
I thought it sounded Ok...
I know the ending is Sh*t...

"without hearing the original..."
I havent heard the original, so I can't compare it, but this is a very soothing song, I had on repeat while reading another page. It is actually good on repeat too, you feel like you can listen to it over and over again.
Good work.

it sounds awesome, but I think it should be made into a full song, and with some vocals.

To be honest the structure sounded kinda all over the place.
The individual riffs themselves were actually quite good though, and I think in your next piece, if you look into structure a little bit more, you could make an excellent song.

I think you have pretty much all the right sounds in it, but to be honest I think the drum beat in the middle kind of takes the eeriness factor out of it, that is, if you were intending for it to be very eerie. On the other hand, when the drum beat changes, it sounds a little sinister, which I liked.
Overall, it sounded pretty good.
Author's Response:
An animator asked me to make this after I practically begged him to include my works but he wasn't specific about what he wanted. He just said he was making a zombie game so I added the drums to add an action feel. I close my eyes and I envision myself at the gruesome task of dispatching zombies.

"that desire to do better, to make change"
That is something I find myself desiring all the time. It can be a bit of a curse at some times, especially when I dont find motivation. This song though. It explains that exact motivation of looking to the future through music.
Apart from the emotional stuff, the song's tune and structure are bloody brilliant too :D

"Just reading some of these other reviews..."
It's amazing to see how your music has impacted on some people. I may not have a great heartbreak story, but one of the few things I truely value is a song like this, which carries emotion in it's brilliant tune. To be honest, this is probably one of the best songs I have ever heard in my life. I'd be interested in reading the story that inspired this :P
